Good morning amazing Daily Actors,
Our cup runneth over with gratitude for you, our wonderful community! One week ago this morning, over 600 fabulous daily actors came together to heal from the hurt and loss of the fires; to celebrate the heart and resilience of this community; and to power Daily Acts’ vital work.
Together we met our goal of raising $50,000 and we welcomed dozens of new Stewardship Circle members and Sustaining Donors who made ongoing financial commitments to secure our future. We were nourished by delicious food and personal connection, and even got our boogey on with some early morning music. In the community forums after the breakfast, over 130 of us gathered to get more aligned, educated and organized on post fire needs related to self-care, earth care and rebuilding resilient communities.
If you missed Ripple the Recovery but would like to contribute to Daily Acts that would mean a lot, because there is more need and demand for our work than ever. If you would like to find out more about and contribute to the Just and Resilient Future Fund that would be fabulous as well.
While there is a lot of hurt in our world and hard work to be done, there has never been a time when our individual and collective daily actions have mattered more. As this year’s gathering so clearly illustrates, ‘A Connected Community Flourishes’ – thank you for taking heart, taking part and taking action with us!
