Miriam Volat
Miriam is an ecologist, educator, facilitator, student and community organizer who had the great luck to grow up in Sonoma County, where she continues to live in a small orchard with her 9 year-old daughter. Her professional and personal work is to cultivate sustainable human settlements through facilitating and empowering organizational, community and individual actions in Sonoma County, the U.S. and internationally. Because of her love of cooking, eating and serving food to others, Miriam works primarily with the food cycle as a route to the implementation of resilient homes and communities.
