Hearts & Hands

Health and Emergency Information,

Sonoma County Kincade Fire

Dear Daily Actor,

Our hearts are with our community in these challenging times; with those evacuated, hosting friends, and processing the emotions that swell as these disastrous events become more common. We hope that you, your family, and your friends are safe and staying well.

Given the smoke and anxiety in the air, we want to offer resources to protect the health of your families and friends. Please feel free to use and share this tip sheet on how to reduce your exposure to toxics, to detoxify your body, calm your nerves, and boost your immunity: English Tip Sheet and Spanish Tip Sheet available.

If you are in a place to give back to the community, we have gathered a list of ways you can volunteer or donate to help those most affected. More resources on where to volunteer can be found here, additional information on fire updates, evacuation centers, health resources, and more can be found on the official Sonoma County Emergency and Preparedness Information website.

Ways you can Volunteer or Donate:

We have an incredible community who comes together beautifully in times of need. Thank you for all you are doing to help, because it takes a village. We know that our work to build local self-reliance, to strengthen our emotional resilience, and to reduce the impacts of climate change while improving our ability to adapt is more important than ever. We are committed to this purpose, to our community, and to you.

Take Heart, Stay Safe, and Take Care of Each Other,

The Daily Acts Family
