A presentation on Maximizing Rainwater for your Garden

Collecting the drops of rain from your gutter is an easy, water-wise approach to supplement irrigation needs of your garden and community. This presentation will consist of an overview of environmental benefits that rainwater harvesting plays into, and how you can incorporate these benefits in your own landscape. You will learn about different models off efficiency with roof catchment and design, followed by how you can re-use this harvested water in your garden and with drip irrigation. To end the day, we will tour the Windsor Community Garden and discuss the variety of sustainable features that add to the productivity of the garden.
