In the summer of 2015, the Sonoma County Water Agency contracted Daily Acts and Conservation Corps North Bay  to execute an eight week Youth Ecology Corps pilot program to replace lawns in the cities of Rohnert Park and Cotati including the installation of three model sites.

One of the model site installations involved transforming approximately 5,000 square feet of green lawn at Sonoma Mountain Village, Rohnert Park into a mini- food forest which included 12 fruit trees and over 60 culinary herbs to be used in the nearby commercial restaurant. The scope included design, planting, and drip irrigation installation.

Daily Acts served as Project Manager and was responsible for training the crew, interfacing with the property owner, performing site assessments, ordering materials, managing landscape design professionals, providing general oversight, quality control, photography, media coordination, and reporting.
