Being a third generation Sonoma County resident, Cody has spent his whole life living in this beautiful land. Growing up, he and his family started a farm and a CSA. During these transformative years, he discovered his passion for working with surrounding communities to achieve sustainable solutions to food resilience. This led to him achieving a Degree from Sonoma State University in Sustainable Community Planning, where he spent 10 years working for many Sonoma County based environmental organizations such as the Conservation Corps, Sonoma Water, Regional Parks, Santa Rosa Water, and even Daily Acts as an Intern back in 2017!
In his free time, you will almost always see a book in his hand and a coffee in the other. When he’s not reading, he’s floating down the Russian River on a paddleboard or trail running at local parks.
