Cody McGough
Cody McGoughAssociate Director
Raised in Petaluma, Cody grew up enjoying its creeks, trees, and gardens, and the local and regional beauty of places like Helen Putnam Park, Dylan Beach, Point Reyes National Seashore, and Yosemite National Park. After receiving a B.A. at UC Davis, he lived in a Buddhist retreat center in France and developed a love for mindfulness and intentional community.

Cody worked for eight years as a non-profit leader in the Bay Area focused on mindfulness education, living in San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Albany, and Richmond. He received his MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management in the Netherlands in 2020, where he developed a deep appreciation for the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

He then worked as a COVID-equity project manager for the Center for Health Equity and Community Wellness at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, supporting over 90 community-based organizations in providing equitable COVID-19 vaccine access in New York City’s five boroughs.

Inspired by a desire to help mitigate climate change and a love of nonprofit leadership, Cody was thrilled to join Daily Acts to be part of the change in his own home-town of Petaluma.

He currently resides in Petaluma with his wife, Ana, where he enjoys spending time with family, riding his bike, eating delicious food, and enjoying the natural beauty of Northern California.
