The Petaluma residents who received this landscape makeover had an outdated, water intensive lawn and a yard prone to flooding. They were ready for a transformation that would solve those problems and be more climate resilient as well as beautiful. Daily Acts created a landscape design that included sheet mulching, native and drought tolerant plants, as well as a rain garden that sinks, slows, and spreads the rain water to help it infiltrate the landscape and prevent flooding and runoff. This landscape is now updated, thriving, and promoting water conservation and local biodiversity!
