On Saturday November 7th Daily Acts partnered with the City of Petaluma and community volunteers to sheet mulch and spread a new layer of mulch throughout the Basset side of the Petaluma City Hall landscape. With the help of Dibble Landscape Contracting, Daily Acts was able to help spread about 70 yards of mulch! The day before this event Dibble Landscaping helped to stage mulch throughout the landscape. With the help of community volunteers, we worked to spread a fresh layer of mulch that will not only improve the aesthetic of the site, but will also help to suppress weeds, build soil health, and retain water on site. This work will help to prepare the landscape for infill planting in the spring!
