Growing up in west Sonoma County with a big garden and a lot of time immersed in the wildlands, Ryan’s love of living systems has deep roots in this region. Through his work with the Daily Acts Organization and the Permaculture Skills Center, Ryan has been an educator, community organizer, project manager, and designer. He has also worked as an Orchard Manager and Carbon Farm Planner with Ethic Ciders and Gold Ridge RCD. He is passionate about mission-driven entrepreneurship and currently runs Biotic Brands, a probiotic beverage producer and Certified B Corp. Gut health is foundational to human flourishing, so Biotic works at the intersection of regenerative agriculture and human microbiome health guided by the core truth that these two systems are inextricably linked.
