“Since learning about carbon sequestration and its importance to reducing our planet’s pollution and climate change I have been really pumped about doing what I can in my backyard to be part of the solution and consciousness! We are also big on saving water in my house. We just recently upgraded our washing machine to one that uses less water and installed it to become a laundry to landscape graywater system! Our laundry water now waters our fruit trees every time we do a load of laundry. We also are planting perennial and native plants in our backyard and growing our own vegetables and building the top soil by adding compost every season. It feels really good to make a difference and to educate myself and others on carbon sequestration and the importance it has to our planet’s health!
