A native of Santa Rosa, Laura is a long-time Daily Actor who has volunteered with several local organizations including the Sonoma County Beekeepers’ Association. In 2022 and 2018, Laura raised funds for AIDS/LifeCycle, bicycling from San Francisco to Los Angeles, to end AIDS and foster community. She has a B.S. in Business, concentration in Accounting, from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and has a Masters in Sustainability from the former New College of California. Laura has worked in the organic consumer goods arena, with previous Controller positions at Miyoko’s Creamery and Guayaki Yerba Mate, as well as assurance services for the wine industry. Laura brings her values and skills to the Daily Acts Board by leading the Finance Committee. She is also a Leadership Institute for Ecology and the Economy Fellow of 2009.
