Sarina ConsulterCommunications Manager
Born and raised in Sonoma County, Sarina is a proud Santa Rosa Junior College alumnus who transferred to California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo where she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Management & Protection and a minor in Irrigation Science. Sarina began her nonprofit career at Daily Acts as a Programs Coordinator in 2019. She spent two years leading in-the-field programs to teach hands-on water conservation skills including how to sheet mulch, select native and low-water use plants, install laundry to landscape and rain harvesting systems, and her favorite – converting sprinklers to drip irrigation.
At the beginning of the pandemic, without in-the-field programs to offer, she took the opportunity to spend more time focusing on Daily Acts’ digital interface. With her passion for storytelling and her keen design eye, she became the organization’s first full-time Communications Coordinator in 2021. In 2023, she was promoted to Communications Manager and is proud to curate Daily Acts’ communications to spread awareness and sustain this vital work.
