The climate resilient garden installation at the Old Adobe School District property will be the third of our projects for the Climate Resilient Schools Program. Daily Acts will be working with Conservation Corps North Bay to convert a 3,448 square foot portion of lawn into a beautiful and biodiverse climate resilient garden with over 380 native and drought-tolerant plants. This project is estimated to reduce water usage by 89%, from 119,976 down to 12,556 gallons, as well as increase infiltration by 1,710 gallons per year!
Sheet mulching at this site will begin April 16th, in preparation for planting in the fall of 2026.
