On Saturday, November 16th, Daily Acts partnered with the City of Cotati to finish the revitalization of Pocket Park with a seasonal maintenance workshop. 10 Sonoma State University students from Join Us Making Progress (JUMP) came to Pocket Park to finish sheet mulching from June and do some infill planting. Infill plants included lupines, goumi berries, manzanitas, and one elderberry tree. Students learned about the process and benefits of sheet mulching, and the importance of providing functionality and habitat in landscapes. We are so grateful for all their help and hard work!
