White Sage Salvia apiana

This evergreen perennial shrub has silvery-white, aromatic foliage and holds deep significance in the cultures of the southwestern US and northern Mexico. In the spring, tall stalks with white flowers grow up to 6 feet tall, attracting many local bees as well as butterflies and hummingbirds.
It does best growing in full sun and in well-draining soil. Once established, it requires very little water and should not be watered supplementally.
