Sarina Consulter
Sarina ConsulterPrograms Coordinator
Born and raised in Petaluma, Sarina is ecstatic to share her contagious passion with the community she grew up in. In 2012, she had an internship which gave her the opportunity to live in a rural area of the Dominican Republic for three months, where she observed the effect that polluted natural resources can have on the quality of life. Upon returning home, she became dedicated to learning more about environmental justice and protecting water resources, and attended the Santa Rosa Junior College to begin pursuing an environmental science degree. She then transferred to California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, where she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Management & Protection, and a minor in Irrigation Science.

She believes that passion is the key to solving the sometimes seemingly impossible problems that the world faces today. She is enthusiastic to bring together her passion and education as a part of the Daily Acts team to help inspire the community to be the change they wish to see in the world. In her free time, you can find her tending to her ever-growing collection of house plants, walking her golden retriever at local regional parks, or drinking beer at her favorite local brewery.
