On November 2nd, Daily Acts hosted a Permaculture program with renowned permaculturalist, founder of Permaculture Artisans, and author of The Regenerative Landscaper, Erik Ohlsen. Over 40 members of the Sonoma County community and beyond were able to learn from Erik about how we can re-imagine our shared landscapes and explore the collective benefits of permaculture and various permaculture strategies we can all adopt in our everyday lives.
During the program, folks engaged in a casual conversation with Erik, embarked on a tour of the Cavanagh Food Forest Landscape (which he helped to design), and enjoyed a guided Q&A about how we can all do our part to build a just and ecologically vibrant future. Ultimately, participants left the program more connected to one another and the natural world, and inspired about how we all have the power to improve our resilience in the face of climate change.
