Seep Monkey Flower, also known as Mimulus guttatus, is a California native plant that grows in moist stream banks and seeps, filtering water with it’s spreading root systems, making it ideal for planting in rain gardens. This plant grows well in full sun to partial shade. It’s abundant yellow flowers bloom from winter through spring, attracting bees, butterflies, and moths.

Since this plant will spread aggressively and self seeds, it may need to be pruned periodically to reduce the chances of it crowding out other plants.
